Core Services
We provide an array of services to better serve you and keep your smile healthy and beautiful:

  • Fillings - Tooth-colored, non-metal fillings are far better than the metal filling that we grew up with. Tooth-colored fillings seal the tooth better, bond the remaining tooth together resulting in a stronger tooth, cause less of your natural tooth structure to be removed to place the bonded restorations, and look great. Help to restore strength and function while giving your teeth a healthy and natural look with fillings that compliment your tooth color and blend in to create a more natural looking smile. These filling may be done in either one or two visits depending on the condition of your tooth and the type of filling required. You no longer need to see those dark silver or grey spots on you teeth!

  • Crowns - Covering and supporting a weak or broken tooth with a crown can make your tooth stronger and improve its appearance. It can also be used to attach a bridge, restore a dental implant, or cover teeth that are discolored or poorly shaped. Our crowns can be made to mimic existing teeth or changed to enhance your smile.

  • Endodontics - Endodontics (Root Canal) Therapy is the removal of the pulp tissue from the tooth. The pulp tissue refers to the nerve and blood vessels of the tooth. Endodontic Therapy may be necessary to save your natural tooth if the pulp tissue is irreversibly damaged by bacteria associated with decay, very deep filling, tooth fracture or trauma, or periodontal disease. Using the latest technology, our doctors are able to complete endondontic treatment comfortably and in much less time than previously possible.

Prevention (return to top)
Early detection and treatment of cavities can prevent more costly and painful treatment later. Make sure that you see your dentist every six months for a thorough oral examination. We are committed to preventing dental disease in all its forms. As partners in striving for your optimum dental health, we will educate you about the latest products, techniques, and information to help you prevent dental disease. Talk to a caring and professional team member about the health advantages of early detection.

  • Sealants - You may know that sealants are a protective plastic coating placed over deep grooves in teeth to prevent potential decay, but not all sealants are created equally. Both the type of material and the placement procedure play a big role in sealant success. Before placing a sealant the tooth must be meticulously cleaned of all plaque and debris. Organic material can reside in the deep grooves and prevent a proper bond for the sealant. Moisture, tartar or calculus will also prevent a proper bond.

The grooves of the teeth are cleaned prior to the placement of the sealant via a process known as microairabrasion; this increases the adhesion of the sealant. The enamel on the tooth is then etched with a 33% phosphoric acid etch to further increase the sealant bonding strength. A special bonding agent is brushed deep into the grooves. This bonding material is hardened with a special wavelength curing light. Finally, the sealant is placed. We use a unique formula that not only seals the tooth but will actually release fluoride into the surrounding tooth structure if an acidic attack occurs. Industry experts agree that the normal life span of a sealant is 4-6 years.
Other prevention services include:
  • Intra-Oral Cameras

  • Oral Hygeine instruction (brushing, flossing and cleaning gums)
  • Flouride and flouride supplements
  • Infection control (practiced throughout every procedure)
  • Cavities and caries control and prevention

Whitening (return to top)
Improve your smile and boost your confidence. When we asked people what they wanted to see when they smiled, the answer was unanimous! They wanted whiter teeth.

  • Zoom 2 - Our office is using the state of the art Zoom 2 whitening system as seen of ABC’s hit television show, Extreme Makeover. With the Zoom 2 light we can significantly whiten your teeth 4 to 6 shades lighter in practically no time at all. A whiter smile can be your best feature. Ask one of our skilled team professionals for more information on this.

  • In-Office or Chair-side Whitening - a protective gel is put in place to protect your gums, and an American Dental Association (ADA) approved bleaching agent is applied to the teeth, which is then enhanced with a special light.

  • At-Home Whitening - Based on your needs, we will select from a variety of customized whitening procedures. Placed in a custom–fabricated mouth guard, the gel will whiten your teeth safely when used as little as one or two hours a day for as few as two weeks. We'll choose the plan that suits your lifestyle and delivers fantastic results for you based on the shade of your teeth.

Cosmetic Dentistry (return to top)
We use the artistry of smile design to create the perfect smile just for you. Ask a member of our professional team for more information on procedures performed in our office.

  • Bonding - We mend chips, cracks, stains, and gaps using this wonderful proven technique. Special composite resin materials are blended in a color carefully chosen to match your tooth, applied, shaped into just the right contours and bonded into place. The result is an instant, noticeable change you'll love.

  • Bridges - Missing teeth can be replaced with artificial teeth to help maintain the shape of your face and alleviate the stress in your bite. The restoration can be made from gold, ally, porcelain, or a combination of these materials, and is attached onto surrounding teeth for support. Unsightly gaps can be eliminated resulting in enhanced chewing ability and a better appearance. Bridges are available in resin-bonded, all porcelain, PFM, and all metal.

  • Veneers - There are times when wearing braces is the only option. However, there are many time when cosmetic dentistry can offer an alternative to years of orthodontic treatment. Crooked teeth can be straightened, gaps can be closed , and crowded teeth aligned, often in as few as two dental visits (instant orthodontic). If wearing braces is not the treatment you desire, perhaps instant orthodontics is for you. With beautiful porcelain veneers we can give you the smile you have always wanted.

  • Dentures - We can fit you with dentures, full or partial to restore multiple missing teeth and provide proper function and appearance. To do this, we use the Cadent iTero system, which uses a digital camera to create a three dimesional image of your teeth. This eliminates the need to use gooey impression materials and results in extremely precise and accurate fitting dentures.

  • Implants - Implants can be used to replace a missing tooth, as a support for a bridge to more missing teeth, or to secure a denture. A dental implant is a man-made artificial tooth root made titanium - the same metal used to replace artificial joints in the body. Placed in the jaw by one of our carefully selected specialists, implants are fitted with a custom fabricated restoration after a short healing period of four to six months. This is the ultimate in tooth replacement.

Missing teeth can lead to more serious problems including poor chewing, an uneven bite, and stress on adjacent teeth. For those patients with missing teeth, implants offer the most permanent and natural looking treatment option available! Unlike bridges or partial dentures, implants do not alter adjacent teeth. These implant teeth are designed to look, feel, and function like natural teeth. Replacing missing teeth not only improve your appearance, but it may also improve your overall oral health. Ask a member of our professional team to help you schedule a consultation so that we may begin discussing treatment options for your smile.

  • Invisalign - Very few people have naturally straight teeth, and for years, braces were the only option. Invisalign is a revolutionary new way to straighten your teeth without braces. So invisible, you'll be the only one that knows. Invisalign uses a series of nearly undetectable aligners instead of brackets and wires, so it's really hard for people to tell you're wearing invisalign, even up close.

The Aligners are made through a combination of your orthondontist expertise and 3-D computer imaging technology. You wear the aligners for about 2 weeks, removing them only to eat, drink, brush, and floss. Each Aligner is replaced with a new one every 2 weeks. As you replace the aligners with the next in the series, your teeth will move little-by-little, week-by-week until they straighten to the final position your dentist has prescribed. You'll visit your dentist about once every 6 weeks to ensure that your treatment is progressing as planned. Total treatment time averages 9-15 months and the average number of Aligners worn during treatment is between 18 and 30.

Invisalign can give you the smile you've always wanted without the braces you've always avoided.

  • Itero - To fabricate your crowns and bridges we use a system called Itero, which consists of a digital camera that is used to capture the three dimensional shape of your teeth. The end result is an extremely precise reproduction of your teeth which results in a very accurate fitting crown or bridge, and we don't need to resort to gooey impression materials.
